Andrew's Week 1 Progress Report

Week 1 Progress Andrew (Hardware Design) -  Ordered 4 single phase ADE7763 power monitoring chips from Digikey.  Also ordered Ethernet development board off Amazon.com because all development boards at Sparkfun were on backorder.  Worked on preliminary design drawings for the voltage and current sensor circuits which can be viewed below.  Used the ADE7763-EB datasheet as a reference in designing both these circuits.  Made decision to use shunt resistor as current tranducer due to easy phase offset calibration.  Also am able to use 110V line voltage because ADE6673 datasheet states that it can handle the line voltage.  Searched for 200uOhm Manganin resistors but could not find any from a reputable source.  Will continue the search over the weekend.  Until manganin shunt resistor is available the voltage sensor circuit can be used to validate communication between micro controller and power monitoring chip.
